Cleaning

One of the key advantages of Pipercross air filters is that, compared to a cotton or paper filter, they still offer increased airflow even with the same level of contamination.

The dirt is trapped by the unique foam surface, allowing fresh intake air to continue flowing through.

We recommend cleaning at least every 15,000 - 20,000 km or once a year.

The best time to clean the air filter is around the end of May/June after the pollen season, as the air filter is under the most strain after this time.

We offer a special cleaning agent for this purpose. Under no circumstances should aggressive cleaners such as white spirit, cleaning gasoline, brake cleaner, etc., be used, as these can damage the material.
